Officially presented at the Paris Motor Show 2024 Renault 4 E-tech Electric, the new model: a connected electric, built in France, a nostalgia operation

At the 2024 Paris Motor Show, Renault, after producing the electric R5, continues its nostalgia operation with a new model, the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric. A modernity that looks to the past at cars that were very popular. Quatrelle (4L), born in the 60s, this inspires the new Peugeot model.

Renault R4 E-Tech inspired by the Quatrelle: the features

100% electric, inspired by a true myth, the Renault R4 E-Tech adapts to the market by combining several precise style elements, definable as retro but at the same time futuristic. Futuristic precisely because of its cutting-edge technologies. Examples of this are the OpenR Link and the Reno avatar, designed for driving and safety. Modularity, how does it translate? With large load capacity, with seats that fold down as needed, with an opening roof and 26 Adas compliant with the law.

The front end takes up the shape of the round and spaced headlights of the original model, but uses LED technology that frames the grille and the Renault logo, constantly illuminated. The rear end takes up some styles from the past in a less marked way. The interesting part is the tailgate, very large and motorized, flush with the floor which is 61 cm from the ground, this benefits in ease of loading. 420 liters in a decidedly square compartment, including a 35-liter sub-compartment for charging cables, with a lid divided in two in order to be able to lift it even when the trunk is partially full.
