How Often You Should Change Your Car’s Oil

Sometimes the cars we drive say a lot about us, but what do we know about them? We mean, who wouldn’t want a few expensive, flashy cars in their yard? The part about maintenance would be hard. It’s safe to say that if you don’t like cars, you won’t learn how to take care of one until you get your first car. You don’t always do what the car’s doctor tells you to do (mechanic). But it’s very important to understand how your car works and what it needs. Let’s start with the basics, like how often your car’s engine oil needs to be changed.

As a car owner, you may have heard of the rule that says you should change your oil every 3000 miles. Some scientists did a study and found that different cars need an oil change between 5,000 and 7,500 miles. This means that the 3,000-mile range is just a way for shops to make more money. Some people might call that a scam, but I think it’s a good way to run a business. Think about it!

Even though every car is different, the engine oil must be changed at least twice a year. The truth is that your car won’t stop running if you don’t change the oil. On the other hand, the car will run as usual, but the oil will no longer work. It might not grease important parts of your car, which could cause some systems to stop working or even break down completely.
